3.4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bottle to tulip
Not the best bottle for tasting a dark beer, but too lazy to go upstairs for another. Aroma is sweet malt, carrots, ginger, and straw. Reddish brown in appearance with a voluminous and bubbly head leaving lots of lacing. Taste is sweet oatmeal and coffee and palate is quite thin for the type but has a nice creamy texture. Overall it’s enjoyable even with the coffee overtures.
