Dark roasty beer with harsh chinook hop character. Light bodied. Not bad but not a fan of that much chinook.

Bottle in Seattle, via Vlada in Belgrade. Foamy head on very dark brown. Interesting porter-roast aroma, a touch metallic. Smooth, warm body with a gathering bitter malt. Nice ruddy, ‘rustic’ roughness. bright carbonation is a bit of a distraction. But flavors are nicely rough but refined. Enjoyable.

330mL bottle from International Beer Collector. BB 15/06/20 Deep near-black brown body, holds a tight tan head. Nice aroma - distinctly nutty malts, cocoa, dark sugar, sultana, touch of licorice. Full body, chewy texture, smooth carbonation. Flavours hits the spot - lovely cocoa, roast nuts, meaty charred notes, licorice & dark toffee, lingering burnt toast with a good hit of bitterness. Well balanced, well done.

Vörösbe hajló fekete szín, kicsi, gyorsan elillanó bézs hab. Illata pörkölt maláta és kávé keveréke. Íze pörkölt kávé, kissé savanyú, a háttérben érezni a komló keserűjét is. Közepesen testes, kávés, komlós utóízzel rendelkező nedű.

Marrom escura, opaca. Encorpada.

Aroma: Pralines, chocolate, Monte, cocoa, cherry, ash, metallic (skin test confirmed) - after a while just metal. Appearance: Very high head, creates extremely quickly, shrinks quite quickly. Taste: Alcoholic, chocolate, coffee, metallic, very ashy, caramel, cherry, ashy bitterness counters a bit the sweetness, with time the taste gets stronger and more intensive but also the firstly strong metallic note disturbs the first impression of the beer, after the metal gets less feelable it starts to be a great beer. Palate: Body is... even high at the end of the trying, firstly it is low, it seems, finish is semi-sweet, carbonation is medium but it gets lower.

This was poured into a becher pint glass. The appearance was a mostly dark brown color with a thin off white to tan thin head. Messy lacing. The smell takes on a moderately thin roasty coffee bean to sweet dark fruity blend running into some milk chocolate. The taste was semi-sweet with the roastiness blending nicely to balance. Delicate aftertaste of the sweet milk chocolate to dark fruits. Dry finish. On the palate, this one sat about a light to medium on the body with a fair sessionability about it. Carbonation runs about a medium. Bitterness seems to be hidden a bit because of the carbonation. Still, it really moves nice and smooth on my tongue. Overall, as an English Porter - all of the aromas and flavors match. The feel is good too. I would definitely have again.
