Could be a bit fresher, Bottled: 18.04.2014. dark brown / almost black color. very small off-white head. strong smell of coffee and cacao, smells malty roasty, some light dried fruits. quite nice smell, rather unique. medium body, soft carbonation, slick mouthfeel. tastes roasty bitter, some slight sweetness, cacoa and coffee again, light sourness, light notes of tobacco. nice dry roasty bitter finish. wow, drinks very nice and quite easy. really like this one.

Dark brown with huge foam, beige and hurried. Scents of coffee, chocolate, roasted malt and ashes. The mouth is in the same way, roasted, rather round, with bitter chocolate flavours and a hint of toffy. It is dry but supple, point of acidity with notes of coffee, burned and its bitterness.

330ml botle at the Hoppy Pub, Thessaloniki. Dark brown almost black color with beige head. Malty, bready aroma, light chocolate and coffee. Sweet and bitter taste, malty bready. Light to medium oily body with soft carbonation.

Bottle, pours dark brown with am off white head. Aroma: liquorice, roast, citrus. Taste: cappucino, ash, chocolate, liquorice. Light-medium sweet and bitter, oily to creamy texture, medium body, soft carbonation. Dry ashy finish.

33cl bottle at home from Bert’s Bierhuis Biltstraat, Utrecht. Body is dark brown, head is small, beige, mostly diminishing, good lacing. Nose is dusty old book and chocolate. Flavor is chocolate, roasted malt, mild coffee, light peanuts, toast. Light sweet, medium bitter. Finish is medium lasting roasty medium bitter. Medium body, thin texture, average carbonation. Easy dessert beer, simple, tasty, good one.

Pours deep dark color with a thin tan foam. Nose is chocolate and coffee. Aromas are roasted malts, coffee, liquorice, with a nutty hint. Oily texture, medium carbonation. Long bitter finish, mostly on roasty/coffee flavors, but with an herbal aftertaste. Average porter.

Bottle. Small tan head not very lasting. Dark brown (chocolate) colour, heavily cloudy and particulate. Aroma is chocolate, roasted malt, slightly hoppy and fruity. Taste is roasted malt, dark toasted fruits, somehow cheesy or lactic. Watery and medium oily mouthful with medium carbonation.

Pours pitch black with a smooth head. Aroma of roasty malts,hints of berries, licorice, ash and wood. Taste is smooth, slightly roasty and woody with hints of licorice and ash. Finish is smooth, roasty and ashy with hints of licorice. A bit stuffy.

Cerveja totalmente negra, atraente. Aroma intenso de café torrado, chocolate amargo. Uma leve acidez, que se desfez conforme a temperatura aumentou (recomendado é tomar a 8ºC). Espuma inconsistente mas abundante. Carbonação média-alta, achei que mascarou um pouco o paladar com sensação de bolhas na lingua (minha recomendação para cervejas dessa marca é esperar ela descansar mais no copo antes de beber).
Paladar lembrou café torrado além do ponto, não agradou. Aftertaste manteve essa sensação, evidenciando um pouco mais o chocolate.
