Rating #1602 - 05.04.2015 - Easter Dinner at Mom & Dad’s. Into the depth of the secondary cellar. Found this bad boy (bottle date (brewed on) was September 2012. No way it’s still 5.2%. Rich, brown black pour with a creamy tan foam. Aroma is chocolate, toasted malt, espresso, mild vanilla. Creamy mouthfeel, low carbonation, quite thick Very complex, cool sweetness, toasted malt dominance, smooth finish, mild bitterness. Unreal for its age.

0,33l Flasche. Fast schwarzes Bier mit schnell schwindender Schaumkrone. Angenehmer Geruch nach Röstmalzen und Kaffee. So schmeckt es auch, sehr intensiv, trotzdem lecker.

330ml bottle. Pours an unclear, reddish brown with plenty of sediment and a thin, beige head. Sweet aroma of roasted malt, dark chocolate, licorice and coffee. Sweet flavour of roasted malt, licorice and dark chocolate with a slightly sour, dry, bitter coffee finish. Medium body with a creamy texture and soft to almost flat carbonation. Ok.
