(33cl bottle) Purchased at Cook Street Liquor for around $6.90. Pours a thin, frothy white had atop a deep reddish-brown body. Nose is lightly toasted. Flavours are pretty sharp for a porter. A lot of bitterness and hops in the front with a slow meld into a roasted malty finish. Very thin and somewhat off-base in my opinion.

Bottle from Drinkshop. Clear very dark colour with delicate sediment, pour carefuly. Stable beige head. Aroma dark fruits, dried fruits, sweetish chocolatey toffee maltiness. Taste reveals lots of roasted malts, roasted, burnt flavours, cocoa, rather bitter (moderate) with a thin body, bitterness coming mostly from dark malts. Restrained fruitiness, mostly about the roast in taste. Good one.

Uma Porter com sabor marcante e com uma presença grande de café e chocolate. Refrescante e saborosa com o amargor na medida certa.

Bottle. Poured a dark brown color with an average frothy tan head that mostly lasted and produced excellent lacing. Moderate roasted dark malt and citrus aroma. Medium body with a smooth texture and flat carbonation. Medium to heavy toasted sweet flavor with a medium sweet finish of moderate duration. This is the good brew.

Deep brown, beige rather small top. Chocolate dominant, some coffee. If porter could be light, this is it. Moderate carbronation, more sweet than bitter. Good choice for early fall evenings.

Chocolate, coffee and dark malt in the aroma. The same applies to the taste. Really good mix. Easy to drink. Great bitterness which fills the upper part of the mouth a weak moment. Njutbar beer. No heavyweights but incredibly good. Follow me @ Kung av öl @ Facebook for more pictures and ratings.

Bottle sample at a tasting at Tom L’s place. Thanks. Cloudy deep brown with small brownish head. The aroma has lots of coffee, some vegetables, some herbs and butter notes. Flavor of coffee, a bit salty, some roastiness, a bit "green", light sourness, dry. Moderate carbonation, medium to full-bodied.

33cl bottle from Beer52.com, stated ABV of 5.2%..A really dark mahogany colour with a tight beige head; aroma of well-done toast and milky coffee; rich malty bittersweet taste, with some red berries, and green coffee beans; and a smooth finish, with a sophisticated gentle chilli-like heat, and some lingering bitter chocolate. Very good indeed.
