330 ml Bottle. Reddish brown with almost no head. Cocoa aromas explode as soon as you open it. Some sweet notes in mouth, followed by coffee bitterness, some cereal sensation, dryness and lightly spicy hopped finish. Nicely carbonated even with the first impression of no head. Wonderful porter. One of my new favorites on the style.

Very dark brown color with reddish hue, giant brownish head but almost instantly disappeared. Aroma is heavy on roastiness, coffee, some smokey touches, lots of maltiness. Taste is all aroma suggested it would be. Pretty straight forward but damn enjoyable nevertheless. Medium body, soft carbonation.

Sample @ Brewpub. Pours a hazy darker brown, blackish beer with a thin off white head on top. Aroma is toasty, slightly smoke, roast and a hint of coffee. Flavor is moderately sweet, loads of cookie maltness in there, very toasted again and has a faint, bittersweet aftertaste. Soft carbonation, well balanced and just a decent porter.

Bottled, 33 cl. Deep dark brown colour, small beige head. Nose of chocolate, tart berries... Aroma brings chocolate, caramel, some toast and tart fruits. Sweetbitter finish with earth, dark chocolate and berries again. Nice.

0,33 bottle purchased at The Hoppy imp. in Greece, aged and consumed in Kosovo. Bottled 14/10/2013 (2 years old). Pours dark chestnut skin color, initial brownish cap lowering fast and leaving a decent gassy lacing. Nose: coffee smoothie, silky coffee very balanced, some grassy notes in the background. Mouth: soft carbonation (aging helped in this I think), watery with a smooth coffee character but easy, medium low body. The end is bitter but not that aggressive, due to the aging became more peppery han grassy which I like. Surprisingly tasty this one.

Bottle. Deep dark brown with a thin tan halo head. Nose is chocolate powder, earth. Taste is surprsingly unchocolatey, giving some red fruits... but then there’s a little chocolate tease in the finish. Give it a bit of play, and you can pull some chocolate berries too. A touch of banana too perhaps. Tasty!
