33 cl bottle. Dark brown with a smooth tan head. Nose is coffee, scotch, wood and chocolate. Medium body with a sharp tang and punchy alcohol. Taste is scotch, peat, tobacco, tar, licorice and unsweetened chocolate. Monster, roasty bitter with prominent whiskey. A bit rough but i keep thinking about it.

Bottle. Black with a small brown head. Aroma: roasted, coffee, smoke, some sweat. Taste: chocolate, salty licorice, smoked meat, smoke, fruit, wood, semi-dry. I don’t get the whisky. Doesn’t feel very full-bodied. De Molen has brewed so many amazing imperial stouts, in comparison this feels a bit one-dimensional. Still a solid brew.

Black color. Mild but very nice aroma of roasted malt, chocolate, peat; iodine. Good body strength; good roasted malt flavor, cut by a slight sourness; the booziness from the barrel here is a bit more evident.
Good.

Bottle. Very dark brown, average and mostly diminishing dark brown head. Moderate to full, malty and sweetish aroma, some roasted malt and some coffee, faint licorice, light oak/vanilla. Body is medium to full, malty and sweetish flavor, coffee with some roasted malt and light licorice, light oak and light alcohol. Finish is average to long, malty and lightly sweetish, coffee and some roasted malt, light licorice, light oak, alcohol. Lightly sweetish IS - not too much coffee. Bit too much alcohol in the finish and only light oakiness.
