Bottle. Pours a hazy dark amber with a thin, off-white head that descends into a ring. Aromas are weaker than expected but consist mostly of sweet malts, some honey and spice. Taste is at first molasses-sweet and becomes more bitter towards the end. Alcoholic aftertaste. Not bad, but I expected a bit more.

Slightly darker Tripel. Banana, cloves, Belgian yeasty aroma. Flavor is fairly traditional, some tropical fruit, table sugar, slightly sour. The sweetness becomes cloying toasted the end but still remains enjoyable.

Bottle from Beers of Europe, drunk at home. Hazy gold with a small white head and a bit of carbonation. Scent of orange peel, powdered candy, a bit of coriander and caramel. The taste is sweet/sour with a refreshing bitter/sour finish. Medium chalky palette. It’s pretty good but a bit strange. The sourness doesn’t really work for me.
