Beautiful amber-orange color with big white head. Beautiful sweet wine aroma, boozy. A bit spicy as well. Sweet taste, booze kicks in soon, spices yes, but coriander? Not sure. Bitter chocolate. Warming finish, a bit peppery. Bitter aftertaste. A fine beer, but the taste is too alcoholic to be excellent. Smooth carbonation. Weird, but interesting.

Drank with Kaspar and Marijn at home, 14-1. One of the best tripels out there! Normally I’m not a fan of tripels, but this one begs to differ :). Liked it very much. Compelling taste. Perfect body, ’soft carbonation’, alcohol taste is pleasant, hops are well-balanced.

Reimer96 (1427) - Alberta, CANADA - JAN 1, 2015
Pours a hazy orange with a huge frothy white head. Aroma of complex malts, citrus esthers, spicy hops, spicy clove like phenols and low alcohol. Taste is sweet, spicy, peppery, citrus oranges and spicy bitterness from the saaz hops. Finishes semi dry at best is what makes this beer a miss... Needs to finish dryer otherwise the balance of flavors is there but the carbonation priklyness is muted.

Vraiment superbe tripel!

Bottle, 0.33l. Hazy amber brown color with thick creamy off-white head, lots of floating particles and sparkling appearance. Aroma of caramel, dark fruits, yeast, bread and coriander. Taste starts with moderate sweet caramel, follows by yeasty and fruity acidity, alcohol note, spicy warming mouthfeel and moderate herbal bitter finish. Full body, creamy texture and lively natural carbonation in palate. Awesome threesome; sweet, creamy and hoppy...

330ml bottle, thanks to Benzai. Pours deep amber with a lightly sweet aroma. Taste has a light sweetness but just lacks a bit of life with a dulled spice and moderate carbonation. I expected more I must say.
