Kita (1348) - Koper, SLOVENIA - OCT 17, 2014
Bottle, 0.33l. Hazy amber brown color with thick creamy off-white head, lots of floating particles and sparkling appearance. Aroma of caramel, dark fruits, yeast, bread and coriander. Taste starts with moderate sweet caramel, follows by yeasty and fruity acidity, alcohol note, spicy warming mouthfeel and moderate herbal bitter finish. Full body, creamy texture and lively natural carbonation in palate. Awesome threesome; sweet, creamy and hoppy...

330ml bottle, thanks to Benzai. Pours deep amber with a lightly sweet aroma. Taste has a light sweetness but just lacks a bit of life with a dulled spice and moderate carbonation. I expected more I must say.

Bottle. Pours a hazy dark amber with a thin, off-white head that descends into a ring. Aromas are weaker than expected but consist mostly of sweet malts, some honey and spice. Taste is at first molasses-sweet and becomes more bitter towards the end. Alcoholic aftertaste. Not bad, but I expected a bit more.

Bottle at the Zwanze ’14 after party, well that was me and Paul in his kitchen and these notes are pretty hard going but they do make sense! 20/09/14. Murky orange with a good sized off white covering. Nose is bitter tropical fruit, candied fruit peel, sweet tones. Taste comprises pineapple, tropical notes, bitter citric, candied sugar, light spice, bitter orange. Medium + body, fine carbonation, lightly warming alcohol in a sweet and sour close. Ok stuff.

Scopey (8397) - Croydon, Greater London, ENGLAND - SEP 20, 2014
Bottle thanks to Colin. It pours cloudy golden-amber with a thick white head. The nose is soft, doughy, spice, bread, hay, cereal and light toast. The taste is bitter-sweet, light tartness, pear skin, sherbet, apple, doughy, tinned fruit, light alcohol and lemony sherbet with a dry finish. Medium body and moderate carbonation. Not bad.

Tap @ brewpub. Pours a coppery orange with a large, beige head. Aroma is orange, a lot of orange peel, curacao. Some spiciness. Taste is somewhat sweet, fairly caramelly and pale malty. Quite a lot of orange and orange peel, curacao again. Somewhat boozy. Full with medium carbonation.

UPDATED: DEC 30, 2014 0,33L bottle, bottled 16.04.2014. Pours hazy amber with off-white head. The small head stays. Aroma is sweet, fruits, caramel candy, malt. Flavor is sweet and bitter, caramel candy, fruits, spices. Finish is caramel candy and dry bitter with some alcohol (the nasty kind). Overall: great brew, but the nasty alcohol somewhat ruins it.
