Bottle gift from EVSJ 151030. Very opaque brown with creamy lasting white head. Sweet spicy nose with plenty of coriander. Also a heavy coriander palate with malty sweetness. Strange beer. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle at Bent Elbow. Sweet fruity grape aroma. Super sweet grape taste, with distinct slice and earthiness, and a boozy bitter finish. Unique, and good.

9.2%ABV. Triple. Tapped out a beautiful brown amber color. 23ºSRM. Nose is floral and has a perfumed quality to it. Also sweet malty nose. Pleasant enough. Heavy soapy mouthfeel. Thick acoholic palate with malty heft that is sweet and syrupy; this transitions directly into bitter hops which are brief, so overall malt-balanced then you start to get more of the other flavor notes in the finish. Finish is briefly bitter but contiues to bloom wth biscuit and wholemeal bread like flavors overlaid with ripe oranges, estery sweetness and then a honey-like cloying sweetness all the way to the end. You get an orange peel like bittersweet finish with a slightly overripe fruit tanginess. Good but not great. Won’t be going on the list. Pretty typical of DeMolen for me.

L: -pours a hazy amber with a medium, frothy, white head -low to medium carbonation visible -lots of fairly big particle floaties S: -caramel,toffee,honey,white bread, candied orange, coriander, slight lemon, faintly tart T: -caramel,toffee,spicy,oranges,faint lemon -high bitterness for the style F: -low to medium carbonation -full body -alcohol well hidden O: Certainly a different kind of Tripel.Colour-wise it reminds me of the "Gulden Draak 9000". And its fairly hoppy. I really liked it.

33cl bottle @ home from Bert’s Bierhuis Biltstraat, Utrecht. Body is opalescent amber, head is medium, cream white, rocky, mostly lasting, good lacing. Nose is tropical fruits, flavor is honey, caramel, raisin, tropical fruits, light herbs. Medium to heavy sweet, light bitter, slightly sourish. Finish is medium lasting hoppy medium bittersweet, more hoppy later. Full body, creamy and sticky texture, soft carbonation. Quite easy, tasty hoppy beer, probably the best tripel I’ve ever drunk.
