330ml bottle from Cork & Cask. Pours hazy amber gold, lots of floaty bits, big off-white head. Aroma has a honeyed sweetness, light spice, touch boozy. Taste is sweet orange, almonds, light booze. Oily texture, bitter finish with a final sweet note. Interesting.

0,33l fles gedeeld met Johnny B. Prachtig diep amber met een fijne blonde kuif. Geur en smaak met wat toffee caramel, ook tabak laurier en koriander komen naar voren. Afdronk met een snufje salmiak. Bijzondere, ietwat eigenzinnige tripel.

(De Molen Heen & Weer) Bottle 330 ml at home, served into a tulip, ABV 9.2% Deep orange colour on the body, slightly cloudy. Good sized off-white head, with very good retention, leaving medium laccing behind. Fruity aroma, malts, some sugar, yeast. Taste is sweet, light medicinal, less fruity than the aroma, more sugar, light alcohol, malts. Medium thin body, good carbonation, alcohol burn, slightly sticky on the palate. Not bad, like an amplified version of a typical belgian tripel, regarding taste and to a lesser extend aroma, while at the same alcohol level.

Tap@pudel. Amber red. Malty dried fruits, caramels, malty. Med full bodied, sweetness, dry fruits some apricots. Yeasty esters, quite clean still. Just too sweet. Hard to digest. Like a lot of other of this style.
