I paid $6.99 at Julio’s Liquors for a 11.2 oz bottle. I guess the age of this doesn’t matter much but I am a tool for paying this high of a price. Consumed slightly chilled. Light hazy golden with very low carbonation. Aroma of dried fruits, honey and coriander and yeast.

The flavor is pretty much the same as the aroma with a tad to much coriander. Mouthfeel and texture is oily and slick. Low carbonation with the lightest hint of sweetness. It’s ok but I paid to much for this bottle.

Bottle gift from EVSJ 151030. Very opaque brown with creamy lasting white head. Sweet spicy nose with plenty of coriander. Also a heavy coriander palate with malty sweetness. Strange beer. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle at Bent Elbow. Sweet fruity grape aroma. Super sweet grape taste, with distinct slice and earthiness, and a boozy bitter finish. Unique, and good.

Tap @ basement beer bar. Aroma of sweet hops, caramel, alcohol, resin. Clear light amber brown with tiny off-white head, not lasting. Moderate bitterness, hidden behind some alcohol sweetness; moderate sweetness. Full body, oily texture, light+ carbonation, bitter finish with some alcohol warmness.

9.2%ABV. Triple. Tapped out a beautiful brown amber color. 23ºSRM. Nose is floral and has a perfumed quality to it. Also sweet malty nose. Pleasant enough. Heavy soapy mouthfeel. Thick acoholic palate with malty heft that is sweet and syrupy; this transitions directly into bitter hops which are brief, so overall malt-balanced then you start to get more of the other flavor notes in the finish. Finish is briefly bitter but contiues to bloom wth biscuit and wholemeal bread like flavors overlaid with ripe oranges, estery sweetness and then a honey-like cloying sweetness all the way to the end. You get an orange peel like bittersweet finish with a slightly overripe fruit tanginess. Good but not great. Won’t be going on the list. Pretty typical of DeMolen for me.
