Sampled from bottle @ RBBWG 2013. Hazy reddish color, full sized a bit creamy beige head that lasts for a decent while. Smell malts, lightly caramel, a bit "speculaas" (Dutch). Taste malts, lightly sweet-bitter, a hint of raisins and leaves. Medium body and carbonation.

Leighton (10466) - London, Greater London, ENGLAND - NOV 7, 2012
Bottle at Borefts 2012, Bodegraven. Pours cloudy brown with a light, off-white cream head. Tangy berry aroma with hints of funk. Medium sweet flavor with a bit of toasty bread, ripe fruits. Medium in body with creamy carbonation. Moderately sweet to finish, lightly dry with some more bread, berries and very faint, general tang. OK, but a little incoherent.

PhillyCraft (3074) - Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA - OCT 28, 2012
Bottle brought back from the Borefts. Shared with James, Bill, Frank, Allen, and Liam. Pours murky brown amber with off white head, huge head and lacing. Aromas of grape smuckers, yeast, toast, raisins, and hops. Taste is the same with some other flavors of roasted grains, caramel, and dark fruits. Finished a little dry. Another fine offering from the dutch brewery.

Bottle @ home. Hazy dark amber pour, huge foamy off-white head. Aroma is slightly roasty, spicy, some sugars, toffee and some yeast. Flavor is spicy, slightly sweet, peppery, yeasty and caramel. Decent balance, only a bit boring flavor.

Bottle @ tasting. Love the initiative. Aroma is bready malt, some spice and some fruits. Flavour is pretty bitter with an almost mocca roasty note at first, followed by a fruity spicy note. Nice one, Hamoen.
