Bottled. A black beer with a small off-white head. The aroma has notes of roasted malt, dark chocolate, wood, and bourbon. The flavor is sweet with notes of roasted malt, dark chocolate, and whisky, leading to a dry roasted finish.

Big thanks to my Mom for bringing this one back from a trip to De Molen.
Pour almost pitch black, with a small off-white head.
Aroma of roasted malts, smoke, leather, some booze, chocolate, coffee, some wood, slight dirt/gunpowder/asphalt in here as well.
The taste is slightly sweet up front, with a really bitter aftertaste.
Medium bodied, with a slightly flat carbonation. Pretty tasty, and canít wait to see how this ages.

3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Bottle from Mikkeller & Friends bottle shop. Deep, murky brown with absolutely no head. Pretty oily appearance. The nose is rich roasted malt. Plenty of scorched earth, ash. Mild boozy sweetness, dessert liqueur. Bitter dark chocolate and raisin. The taste is more of the same. Bitter chocolate, scorched wood. Bruised dark fruits. Burnt brown sugar. Thick and quite viscous. Not overly boozy, smooth and surprisingly easy to drink. Overall, a pretty good beer, though I canít say itís an improvement on 666 itself.
