Bottle from Mikkeller & Friends bottle shop. Deep, murky brown with absolutely no head. Pretty oily appearance. The nose is rich roasted malt. Plenty of scorched earth, ash. Mild boozy sweetness, dessert liqueur. Bitter dark chocolate and raisin. The taste is more of the same. Bitter chocolate, scorched wood. Bruised dark fruits. Burnt brown sugar. Thick and quite viscous. Not overly boozy, smooth and surprisingly easy to drink. Overall, a pretty good beer, though I cant say its an improvement on 666 itself.

Big thanks to my Mom for bringing this one back from a trip to De Molen. Pour almost pitch black, with a small off-white head. Aroma of roasted malts, smoke, leather, some booze, chocolate, coffee, some wood, slight dirt/gunpowder/asphalt in here as well. The taste is slightly sweet up front, with a really bitter aftertaste. Medium bodied, with a slightly flat carbonation. Pretty tasty, and cant wait to see how this ages.

Bottle from DeMolen. Dark brown almost black with a small, light tan head. Aroma of cocoa, whiskey, vanilla, roasted malt and alcohol. Flavor is boozy up front with plenty of chocolate, bitter roast and oak. Medium to full body with soft carbonation and a long hot finish. Very similar to the other BA versions.

Tap at De Molen. Poured a deep mahogany with a thin tan head and a thick oily consistency. The aroma is rich malty, with alcohol and a malty medicinal edge. The flavour is strong bitter, roasted malt, alcohol and chocolate, A really chewy flavour packed beer!

Tap @ de Molen. Dark color, short brown head. Aroma of roasted malts, chocolat, dry oak wood, some coffee. Full bodied, creamy texture. Big malty taste, quite sweet, medium bitter, slight dry. The oak chips came through a bit too much, or perhaps the Dutchsky gives it a woody touch as well. Not my favorite, as Im a sucker for bourbon. Still, wonderful beer.

Bottle sample at a tasting at our place, thanks DSG. Black, tan head, opaque. Sunflower seeds soaked in alcohol as well as prickly pear in the nose, wooden and a little roasty in the mouth. Syrupy texture, full body, a little wine finish. Good.

Ultra suru es fekete, ami nem turi magan a habot. Illata csokolades meggylikor, aszalt gyumi, vanilia. Ize is hozza az illatok alapjan vartakat, de nagyon osszetetten, furfangosan. Van meg ott konyak, tolgy, fakorom es whiskey bosegesen. Eleg sok a szesz.
