Opaque dark brown beer with a tidy tan head. Palate is soft, viscous and a little dry. Sweetish dark malt with rich coffee and a touch of alcohol spice. Trace if violets and candy friuts. Light brandy liqueur before the smooth dry finish.

Bottle, 33cl. A black one, topped by a dense, dark beige head. The aroma has chocolate, coffee, some alcohol notes, booze actually, and a light roasted touch. There’s some bitterness in the flavor, of the hoppy kind, as well as chocolate, coffee, some roasted malts and booze. It’s warming and full-bodied on the palate, with a soft and pleasant carbonation level. Lasting roasted and lightly boozy finish. Overall, too warming, but sure tasteful. 140207
