Bottle. Trade with Kermis. Thanks. Pours black with a small creamy head. Heavy peated nose with a touch of salty liquorice beaneath. Flavor is peat - ashtray and leather. Vinous and slick. Base beer is genius - this is defenetly not one for me.

laiti (5704) - Helsinki, FINLAND - APR 27, 2013
33 cl bottle (11%) @ wPBF. Bottled 05.09.2012, BBE 05.09.2037
Aroma is nice with peaty notes, smoke and hints of licorice. Flavour has salty licorice, peaty notes and smoke. Quite strong on islay whisky and almost nothing else. Some stinging alcohol (or whisky) also occurs.

lusikka (6267) - Tampere, FINLAND - APR 27, 2013
330 ml bottle @ WPBF 2013.
Pours a black colour with a small head. Aroma is really intense with roasted malts, peat, tar and whiskey. Flavour of roasted malts, green apples, peat, grassy hops, coffee and some vanilla. Full bodied, oily mouthfeel and a long, lingering, peaty, malty finish. Heavy stuff indeed - if you don’t like Islay, this beer isn’t for you.
