33cl bottle into glass. Lille. Appearance: black beer with little white head. Aroma: coffee vanilla, oak, chocolate. Taste: sweet, slightly bitter finish. Palate: full body, low carbonation, thick texture. Overall, excellent flavor and aroma. Good texture. Would have preferred a little more body, but this is a fantastic beer.

roasted lightly bitter coffee beer. initial taste is very smooth and soft medium sweet. Towards the end more dry and bitter. Leaves a coffee taste in the mouth. Very good but needs a bit of oomph to rise to the top.

Bottle. Dark brown colour, beige foam. Medium carbonation. Aroma of roasted malts with lots of bitter coffee. Light sweet. Bitter aftertaste. Very good, but I like the others in this serie more.

33cl bottle from BierNavigatie. Very dark brown with an almost non-existing tan head. Full body with low carbonation. Sweetness combined with a lot of dark coffee. A great dark coffee brew.

Bottled. Pours opaque black with a tan, medium sized and creamy head. Aroma of roasted malt, coffee, bitter chocolate, vanilla and dark fruit. Sweet flavor that ends up more dry with alcohol. Medium to full bodied, oily texture and flat carbonation. A delicious Impy.

Bottle. Black pour. Aroma is full of coffee, roasted malts, licorice, bread, tobacco and more coffee. Flavor is quite bitter, roasted, bready and with loads of coffee. Clean and to-the-point, very nice coffee stout, only a bit thin and with a bit too little carbonation.

Bottle (330 ml). From JulienHuxley, thanks! Black with a medium mostly lasting brown head and some lacing. Aroma is a burst of coffee and roasted notes. I’m usually not a fan of Kopi Luwak in beer, but it fits pretty good here. There’s also dark chocolate, caramel and some green-ish notes. Taste is also dominated by coffee and roasted notes along dark chocolate, caramel and a light roasted finish. Light warming alcohol. Medium to full body. Moderate carbonation. Rich and creamy mouthfeel. Very tasty coffee RIS. Coffee forward, but the balance isn’t bad. Well executed!
