Pours pitch black with a tan head. Aroma has notes of roasted malt, coffee, chocolate, oak and alcohol. Taste is medium sweet and light to medium bitter with a long warm, chocolate and coffee finish. Body is full, texture is oily, carbonation is soft.

Uhm, yah. They just kill it every time. Pretty sure I rated the base beer over a 4, and this is a no brainer. Big and bold and everything I ever want from a beer like this. FUCK MY MOUTH WITH FLAVOR PLEASE, thanks.

12 oz Bottle. Pours black with large khaki head and nice lacing. Aroma was my favorite part of this brew with cookie dough, milk chocolate, roasted malt, fudge, vanilla bean, and bourbon shining. Flavor is more roasty and complex with wood and light char but mostly bitter and dark cocoa. Other notes of oak, molasses and fudge. Medium to fuller body with light to average carbonation and velvet soft mouth. These guys craft stouts exceptionally well, this is just another example. Proost Meno.

Cask at gbbf 2013. Aroma is oak booze and whiskey. Choc and a touch of higher alcohol. Opaque black with a reluctant tan head viscous with big legs. Flavour is big on the oak and booze. Some vanilla. Finish is tangy berry. Warming alcohol. Too much barrel for me

Tap at the brewery. Poured a deep mahogany colour with a big frothy tan head. The aroma is big malt, fruit and alcohol. The flavour is medium to strong bitter with a huge roasted malt, liqourice, fruit and alcohol palate. Its a super rich and very heart warming beer. A king amongst beers for sure!

(33cl bottle) Courtesy of Blomster. Pours a thin beige head and a deep brown body. Smell the Wild Turkey in this, good malt base. Flavour of gritty coffee, very boozy and vanilla. Cocoa beans. Good. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
