4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 18/20
Small 18 cl bottle brewed on 14th december 2009. No head on this beer which was the only weakness of this beer. Nice roasted malty arome with a hop (amarillo ofcourse) finish. Aroma is malty bit hoppy but above al chocolate. Mild bitter after taste and a smooth mouthfeel. When the temperature of the beer rises during degustation, the amarillo becomes more eminent. At the recommended temperature of 16 degrees C, this beer is like a melted bag of maltesers

3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Impressive licorice aroma with a sour twist in an inky black pour. Taste is the same - with hints of chocolate and coffee and a tasty sustained finish.

4.2 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
Great aroma of bonfire smokeness with chocolate and coffee. Pours pitch black with small but stable tan head. Taste is medium dry. Beer is very smooth and incredibly balanced between smoke and chocolate. Finish is medium, herbal bitter. Overall fantastic!

4.2 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 19/20
Massive peaty malty aromas... the flavour follows suit, big roasty, boozy, whisky, coffee... warming. Quite a thin body and not too sweet, which makes it alarmingly drinkable. Stunning stuff.

4.1 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bottle from Saveur Bière (2014/11). Low, creamy, beige/brown head. Black body. Smells of roasted hops, coffee, nuts, leather, oil. Tastes strong of salt, licorice, coffee, chocolate, vanilla, roasted hops, very spicy. Sweet, salt and bitter. Clear finish (thankfully). A surprisingly different touch to this beer which I appreciate, even though it’s not particurlarly a beer I enjoy that much it’s a good brew none the less.

4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 15/20
Pours pitch black with thick Brown head. Smell is malt an peat. Very heavy peat taste to while being sweet. Some grass and very long and peaty aftermath... I’m not much of a Fan of peated Single malts but this is decent and I like the crafty Idea behind it.
