Imperial Stout – 10,2% vol. Twice the amount of dark roasted malts used, massive Imperial stout. This is a mad one. Black brown colour with a thick and creamy tan head that can be added to as you wish if you give the bottle a swirl. Give this beer time to breathe and blossom into something truly stunning. Chocolate and alcohol are right there at the front but do not at all overpower the gorgeousness that is underneath. Full of leather, vanilla, amazing wooden notes, beautifully floral character from the hops, thick Belgian chocolate, much character. The flavour of crazy wooden tartness. An extremely bitter finish seems to come out of nowhere and is what really makes this quite unique. Superb width in the mouth and coats the whole palate beautifully. Alcohol 12% in latere versies

Appearance: pours a very dark, nearly opaque, with a nice reddish-brown foamy cap that unfortunately quickly dissipates Aroma has prunes, malts, and a little orange. Mouthfeel: this drinks like a classic milk stout. The body is incredibly creamy – beautiful. Flavour: is again lots of prunes, with a chocolatey/coffee malt layer underneath, and a hint of orange peel at the end. I was pleasantly surprised to find hardly any toasty notes here. Drinkability: this could be a beer you’d love one glass after another. It could be, if there wasn’t the 10.2% alcohol in it. It’s such a sweet, creamy, tasty, drinkable beer.

Bottle - Thick and strong with a dark brown head. Not a strong aroma, but the taste of strong coffee and chocolate hits you like a baseball bat! The slight bitter ending might not suit everyone, but i don't like very bitter beers, and I would drink it again ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Warka 03/12/40. To piwo pachnie tak jakby ktoś obok kawowo - czekoladowego likieru położył ziemniaki dopiero co wyjęte z ogniska. Daję siedem bo lubię jedno i drugie.

Oil black, tan head. Stays as a bubbly lace. Aroma of coffee, earthy hops, nuts, brandy. Full body. Oily to sticky texture. Dryish taste. Roasted malts, coffee, earth, brandy, light to medium bitterness. Very good.

Massive beer but I’m not sure what else you could expect. Chocolate, roast, sweet fruits, lots of choc orange. Bang in line with the play book. Sweetness ramps up on the finish and very effectively seals it as a one-off taste (at least for today).

0,33l bottle at home from drinkshop.sk. Bottled 31/12/2014. BB 31/12/2039. black color, small dark coffee-colored head. smells of spices, raisins, licorice, light peat, hints of bacon, lightly dusty, light ketchup. decent smell, but not overly exciting. full body, soft carbonation, slick mouthfeel. tastes peppery, spices, some ketchup again, licorice, earthy, light smoke. finishes lightly earthy bitter with notes of spices and ketchup. quite unpleasant imp stout. probably this should have been consumed fresher, and i m not sure what the shop i bought it from, did with it, but for an imp stout this is heavy and rather unpleasant.
