Bottle at home. Hazy orange pour, thin white head. Slight gusher. Aroma is spicy, somewhat murky, some fruity hops, strangely yeasty, quite harsh and out of balance. Flavor is sweetish, sour and with a bitter finish. A bit rough. Not my paw of tea.

From tap @ Hofje van Wijs. Hazy golden colour, off-white head. Nose is floral, tea, dry wood. Flavour is floral, tea, fruity and juicy. Very drinkable.

Tap @ Hofje van Wijs. Slightly haze golden to amber pour, medium creamy head. Nice fruity aroma. I’m not really familiar with the tea, so it’s hard to say how much aroma is from the tea and how much from the american hops (Amarillo?). Nice bitterness in taste. Easy to drink and very sessionable. Lovely.

Hazy amber with a thin, white, disappearing, non-lacy head. The smells starts with nice fruity and citrus hops and yeast but under it there are toasted malt, wood and red fruit that gives an overall herbal undertone. Medium to Full oily body with faint carbonation. Tastes of peppery malt, with soft herbal middle and a citrus dry, pine grapefruit bitter finish that only lingers slightly. A great beer and super easy to drink.

Draft @ hofje van wijs. Aroma has slight brett/tart red fruit. Faint teaish notes. Flavour is very refreshing, some ipa ish notes, some blond, some orval. Very nice, but I wonder if the tartness is meant to be there.

On tap at Hofje van Wijs. Menu also calls this "Cat paw". Cloudy yellow-golden with a creamy, tan colored, fingerthick head. Floral, tea, citrus, wooden, malty and most inviting nose. Fresh herbal, aromatic tea flavors. Mellow bitterness. Light to medium body. Light doughy. Smooth to drink. The beer has got the feel of an English bitter but with exotic aromas. Recommended.

On tap at ’t Hofje van Wijs, Zeedijk, A’dam. Hazy golden yellow colour, white head. Aroma is hoppy, yeasty, light plastic, spruce. Flavour is light malty, floral, citrus, grapefruit, bitter, some pepper from the catpaw tea, bitter hoppy citrus finish. Light bodied. Nice.
