Remarkable, this is by far the spiciest beer i have ever had. Maybe even too spicy. Even a bite of foam is spicy. Thank god we are just to indonesian and surinam food, the mm jeanette is infamous. Gets better once u get used to the heat. Remarkle beer on tap at the botermarkt beer festval in haarlem
4.2 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20 Leighton (6973) - London, ENGLAND - AUG 6, 2011
Gravity cask at GBBF, Day 1. Pours black with a flimsy, tan head. Plenty of dark malts on the nose, slight chili. Roasty malt flavor, sweet, tons of hot and spicy chilies, burning, mocha. Full bodied with soft carbonation. Burning finish, mostly from the peppers but some light alcohol warmth, not too boozy, mostly chili and cocoa beans. Really tasty. I had to take my time with this one.
4.2 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20 teorn88 (1198) - London, Greater London, ENGLAND - AUG 5, 2011
On tap at GBBF 2011. Pours black with a big creamy brown head. Foam is excellently lacing and long lasting. Aroma is warming alcohol, coffee, malt, dried fruits, chocolate and hints of licorice. Taste is complex and balanced, with predominant coffee and woody notes. Some burnt notes too. Alcohol is fairly hidden, but hot spiciness is almost overwhelming and makes the brew a bit difficult to drink. Palate is excellent, again. Very creamy texture and medium/low carbonation. Overall, great beer, but only if you love hot sauces.
3.7 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20 Travlr (7998) - Washington, Washington DC, USA - AUG 4, 2011
Oak cask at GBBf. Nearly black in color. This one really lives up to its name. You have to enjoy hot stuff to enjoy this one. Nice.

Pours black with a lighe brown head. Aroma is roasted malt, green pepper, chocolate and liquorish. Flavour is roasted malt, burning chilli, chocolate and liquorish. I don’t like chilli in beers!
3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20 OleR (4247) - Oslo, NORWAY - JUL 14, 2011
From tap @CBF ’11. Body is jet black, topped by a yellow-tanned blond head. Spiced, coffee-ish burnt malt aroma. Taste has a nice chili burn. Not too hot, giving room for some spice flavors as well. Well roasted, peppery dark malts underneath. Rough on the palate, in good way. Chilli linger in a long finish. Very potent, very likeable.
3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20 Christian (9697) - Odense, DENMARK - JUL 8, 2011
Black with a lasting tan head. Aroma of licorice with green pepper/vegetables. Licorice and pepper flavour, with burning hot spice killing tastebuds. It’s a love it AND hate it beer...
3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 14/20 stobbe74 (3788) - DENMARK - JUL 4, 2011
Sampled at Copenhagen Beer Festival 2011. Pours a pitch black beer with a beige head. The aroma is malt and green pepper. The flavor is malt, chili, smoke and roasted. The palate is chiliwarmth. Overall the chili in this beer is too hot and overwhelms the taste of the base beer.
2.7 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20 MiP (12172) - Sønderborg, DENMARK - JUN 29, 2011
UPDATED: OCT 7, 2011 Draught, KØ11. Mild coffee aroma. Distinct chili flavour to start off... And to finish. The chili flavour/burn is good, but a bit strong. 5 3 5 3 11
Borefts 2011. Mild roasted aroma. Black colour. Almost no head. Very hot chili flavour - too hot for me, but the taste is good. There seems to be a sweetish, roasted beer in there as well, but it is hard to taste because of the chili. Long, hot chili aftertaste. Rather undrinkable. 6 3 5 3 10
3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 gunnar (3594) - Sandnes, NORWAY - JUN 15, 2011
Sampled at Copenhagen Beer Festival 2011. Pours pitch black with a small creamy tanned head. Aroma of dark roasted malts and some spicy notes.
Light and moderate sweet, for the first impression, later on it is just burning sensation, ohlala, good in a strange way, not for the faint hearted.
