3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20 Pinball (9728) - Copenhagen, DENMARK - JUL 13, 2011
cloudy orange, smooth white head.
hoppy and bretty and fresh aroma. nice bretty twist on a hoppy beer.
flavor is bretty, hoppy, dry. ends hoppy and bretty. the hops are dry, and aromatic, not overly bitter. well balanced with the brett. Also tastes like if a belgian yeast was used.

Bottled. An unclear golden beer with a lazing off-white head. The aroma has notes of malt, caramel, and spices. The flavor is sweet with notes of malt, brettanomyces, and a bit of caramel, leading to a tart finish. Thanks pinball for sharing.

Bottle 75 cl. Courtesy of Pinball. Pours a cloudy - almost murky - golden with a white head. Tart fruity, citrusy aroma. Fairly light body, dry fruitiness, a light sweetness - Brett right? No real bitterness. A very easygoing and quaffable Sour (well, to be honest it’s only tart). 130711

Hints of a lot of things in the smell, but the sourness in the smell dominates all the way. Not my kind of beer.
3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 Koelschtrinker (8619) - Köln (Cologne), GERMANY - JUN 3, 2011
Ausgewogen säuerlich-hopfiger Antrunk, in seiner Art mild aber bestimmt, vollmundig. Stimmig, erfrischend, bitter-trockenes Finish. 11/11/12/11//11
4.3 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 18/20 Borresteijn (3681) - Amsterdam, NETHERLANDS - JUN 3, 2011
75cl Bottle from De Bierkoning. Hazy amber colour, dense rocky off white head. Aroma of Brettanomyces, apple, bread, flowers, vanilla/oak. Flavour is light sweet, malty, vanilla, apple, Brettanomyces flavours, light sourness, bitter hoppy finish with a light sour twang. Light to medium bodied. This beers screams Orval. Great.
3.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 17/20 IluvatarMilan (190) - Eindhoven, NETHERLANDS - MAY 25, 2011
Bottle 75cl. Pours a great dark orange body with a big white head. Very soft aroma, barnyard, yeast, slightly funky, dried fruit. Taste is very subtle yet complex. Even though the body is pretty thin the barrel aging gives it avery warm character. Aftertaste is very dry; due to its great subtlety it unfortunately hangs around for quite too short a time.
3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20 dEnk (2681) - Den Haag, NETHERLANDS - MAY 15, 2011
Draft @ ACBF ’11. Brett takes over the op&top quite strongly, very dry, a bit thin, yet not overpowering, although more would like more noticeable hops.
Nice beer.

Corked bottle. Golden color. Oak, apple and vinegar in the aroma. eather, citrus, oak, hints of red wine, sulphur and hopflashes in the flavor. Almost totally dry, only some fruity notes. Thin to medium bodied. Amazingly complex for such a moderate ABV beer.
