Bottle from De Bierkoning. A cloudy golden colour with a thick white head. Big Brett nose with sweet musty honey. Flavours of cardboard, lemon, horseblanket, saison yeast and barley. Musty horseblanket finish. Very nice.

Shared bottle at local tasting, thanks to Ole Anders. Pours cloudy golden with a small white head. Aroma is sour, acidic this is brett talking. Taste is fresh and dry, light toffee malty with a sour note, quite refreshing beer.

Sigmund (4933) - Tau, NORWAY - JUL 14, 2011
Corked bottle, shared at local tasting. ABV is 4.8%, 30,4 EBU. Bittering hop is Premiant, late hops Cascade and Amarillo. Golden colour, moderate white head. Fresh aroma of brettanomyces, farmhouse, oxidised apple cider, hints of oak. Dry flavour, brettanomyces character, oaky notes, notes of dry cider, moderately sour but not vinegary. Decent hops in the finish. Light bodied, very refreshing.

cloudy orange, smooth white head. hoppy and bretty and fresh aroma. nice bretty twist on a hoppy beer. flavor is bretty, hoppy, dry. ends hoppy and bretty. the hops are dry, and aromatic, not overly bitter. well balanced with the brett. Also tastes like if a belgian yeast was used.

Bottled. An unclear golden beer with a lazing off-white head. The aroma has notes of malt, caramel, and spices. The flavor is sweet with notes of malt, brettanomyces, and a bit of caramel, leading to a tart finish. Thanks pinball for sharing.

Bottle 75 cl. Courtesy of Pinball. Pours a cloudy - almost murky - golden with a white head. Tart fruity, citrusy aroma. Fairly light body, dry fruitiness, a light sweetness - Brett right? No real bitterness. A very easygoing and quaffable Sour (well, to be honest itís only tart). 130711

Bottle. Slightly hazy golden/orange with medium off-white head. Flavour is malt, brett, little bitter, hops, little white wine, citrus and a little sour.

Hints of a lot of things in the smell, but the sourness in the smell dominates all the way. Not my kind of beer.
