Sampled from a 0.25 L bottle. Thanks Cunningham for sharing. Body is glowing amber brown. A tiny sand-colored lace on top. Big, gently sweet malt aroma. Alcohol is noticable. Notes of dark dried fruits, grass and some nice port-like tones. Mouth-filling, sweet and malty. Quite vinous with warming alcohol througout. Drinks good, a very nice sipper. Bottle 18cl from Fonefan thanks very much. A flat beer with dark amber color, nose is fantastic on dry grapes, prunes, caramel, alcohol notes, light cherry touch. Aroma is malty, caramel like, on figs, fresh red fruits are there such as strawberries and blackcurrant, light licorice, alcohol is burning, finish is a bit cognac with a oak touch, burnt cherries, sweet and off course malty. Very complex beer, that evolves even during tasting, very pleasant, terrible !

25cl bottle (Shared by Cunningham - Thanks a lot!) Pours dark hazy brown with a reddish hue and almost no head. Malty aroma with caramel and dark dried fruits. Sweet and sugary with well integrated alcohol. A bit like liqueur or port, but with some bitterness. Nice dessert beer. Very drinkable and quite well balanced. Delicious! (2012-08-02)

Dark amber colour with a very smal beige head. Fruity and malty aroma with some alcohol coming through. A very intense fruity sweetness. Round nice texture. Very well hidden alcohol in the flavour. Nice and enjoyable.
