Bottled@The post Chriso Gaylord Tasting. Rubyish ambery brown colour with not too much head. Aroma is caramel, alcohol, some mild sugary and plummy notes as well. Flavour is plummy, alcoholic and also has some rather bitter notes. Quite fullbodied. Nice Eisbock.

Bottled (as Borefts IJsbock) at Monk’s Café Wallingatan, Stockholm. Cloudy brownish ruby, brief beige head. Doughy, raisiny nose with strawberry esters behind. Sweet and fruity, caramelly with waming peppery alcohol. Raisiny madeira, dried out by grassy hops and some licorice. Salty prune finish where bitterness comes along late. Good without being extraordinary.

On tap at Borefts BF 09. I like it, takes a long time to drink. It’s good, sweet and dry. Lovely Eisbock. Lovely. Good fruits, some demerara sugar and some ruby port.

Tap @ 1st BBF, De Molen.
Pours lovely ruby red with a hint of brown. Impressive, staying, creamy, beige head. Sweet aroma, caramel, dried fruits, lightly vinous, raisins. Light carbonation, fat but still rather light mouthfeel. Sweet flavour, caramel, some fat maltiness, light alcohol. It is lovely looking and very nice. Probably a tad one-sided and there is a lot of alcohol in there.
