Papsoe (14613), Frederiksberg, Denmark Nov 2, 2009 Bottle 33 cl. Courtesy of jbrus. Pours a deep golden with a slight haze and a very lively off-white head. Astringent, leathery nose. Medium body, fruity and phenollic with quite some yeast and again an astringent, leathery - almost Bretty - and very dry finish. Delicious and quenching. 021109 Geokkjer (256), Kristiansand, Norway Oct 6, 2009 Bottle.Pours amber with an off-white.Nice peach and hop aroma with hints of malt ,grains and yeast.Flavor is likewise with a somewhat dry and bitter finish.A fresh and nice beer. yngwie (4880), Kristiansand, Norway Sep 27, 2009 Bottle, 75cl corked. It pours a slightly hazy, golden body topped by a small, off-white head. Peachy, syrupy nose, with a generic fruityness. Maybe a bit boring. The flavor is sweet and fruity, with peachy and resiny hops. Warming, full-bodied and sweetish in the mouth. Sweet, bitter finish. Sure, a decent beer, but not very interesting. Maybe that’s just because of expectations when drinking de Molen. 090724 Allen (1282), Switzerland Apr 14, 2009 Courtesy of bierkoning. Lactic nose. Surprisingly sour taste. Strange. I think something went wrong here. Dry finish. Thanks bierkoning! Bov (5403), Bienne, Switzerland Apr 12, 2009 courtesy of Allen - cloudy dark orange colour with a little white foam; aroma of cheese, earth and cork; very sweet and medium-bodied, lemonade-like mouthfeel, quite sour with a fruity and sugary finish where more weird notes of fish and cheese appear - there is definitely something wrong here tarjei (1741), Bryne, Norway Oct 21, 2008 75 cl bottle at Hopheads´ fourth tasting - in my garage. Bought at Ølkonsortiet, Aalborg. Hazy orange color, medium white head. Aroma is spices, wheat, citrus and yeast. Flavor is sweet wheat malty, has a bit sourness/citrus, yeast and hops. More taste in the second half of the bottle than in the first. oh6gdx (8794), Vasa, Finland Oct 4, 2008 Bottled. Hazy orangeish golden colour, mediumsized beige head. Aroma is wheat, spices and some caramel along with yeast. Flavour is quite much the same in a nice balance. A rather pleasant brew. Quite fruity aftertaste.
