3.6 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20 Koelschtrinker (7060) - Köln (Cologne), North Rhine-Westphalia, GERMANY - MAY 29, 2011
11/11/12/13/12/12

3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 pivnizub (7231) - Bochum, Porúří, GERMANY - DEC 24, 2010
Bottle: Hazy, loads of floaties visible, big stable off-white head, light amber coloured; sweet bready (brown bread) nose with the expected herbal-hoppy background; dry bitter-sweet flavour, medium bodied; a subtle fruitiness shows up in the stonger piney-hoppy and caramalty finish, followed by a light alcohol burn. Quite mediocre by De Molen standards.....
3.8 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20 Grima (1573) - Saarburg, Rhineland-Palatinate, GERMANY - DEC 21, 2010
330ml bottle from Sliterij Van Bergen, Eindhoven, NL!
The beer in the glass is dark orange and opaque, with many beer yeast particles. Especially on the ground settles much. Fine, creamy and medium high head. Smells hoppy bitter, slightly citrusy. Above all, the magnificent Cascade hops through. The IPA starts milder than expected. Hoppy floral-grassy, with a fruity-sweet nuances. An IPA of a different kind: fermented fruity, but pleasant aroma hops, and in no way bitter. The further course is also extremely fruity, incredibly aromahoppy and just a little bitter. The whole thing is more in the sweet direction. Overall, an unusual but terrific horny IPA!!!
3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20 MoritzF (7342) - Bochum, GERMANY - DEC 8, 2010
(bottle, 33cl) Cloudy, murky amber coloured hue with many ugly yeast-flakes and a light-beige medium-sized foamy head. Sweet and bready cara-malty aroma with subtle fruity and slightly ethereally herbal hops. Sweet-bitter flavour, medium bodied with a moderate carbonation. Bready malt-character with notes of caramel, brioche, subtle fruity notes and herbal accents; sweet malty and moderately bitter and herbal hoppy finish. Not particularly exciting. 08.XII.10

Reddish brown colour, no head at all. Loads of yeast when poured. Floral hops and spices on the nose. Fair amount of hops on the taste. Medium bodied with a yeasty mouthfeel. Reminds me of De Molen Amarillo, and I consider this as a light version of it.
