2011 bottle. Very similar to BBCS, but creamier and smoother massive milk chocolate hit, with burned malts hints of coffee (kopi had faded somewhat) caramel and fudge. A really special beer.

27,5 cl bottle @ home. It pours a black colour with a small ring of dark beige foam. The Aroma is dominated by ripe fruits, berries and a lot of coffee notes. The taste is malty, with strong notes of good coffee, a bit bitter, and some dark fruits aswell. oily texture and creamy palate. A delicious stout with a lot of punch

Bottle thanks to ericandersnavy. The smell is very nice, coffee, malts, roasty, more coffee, chocolate. the look is brown in color, with a big beige tan head. The taste is roasty, coffee, not as balanced.

Kaatuu lasiin mustana ja melkein vaahdottomana. Haju on vahvan kahvinen, suklainen ja yrttinen. Mieleen tulee myös liköörikarkki. Maku on vahvan kahvinen, hieman yrttinen, suklainen, havuinen ja hennon lakritsinen. Suutuntuma on melko täyteläinen ja yllättävän raikas. Kokonaisuutena haju antoi odottaa todellista kahvipommia, mutta maku on hyvin tasapainoinen eikä liiallista kahvisuutta ole.

18 cl bottle @ Atala. Rated on 24.07.2010
How much foam can one fit in a 18 cl bottle?? When it was empty, I had four desiliters of foam and one desiliter of liquid in my glasses.
Aroma has ash, some roasted and coffee notes. Flavour has lots of ash, some peat, roasted notes and coffee. Also a vichy‐like feeling typical to beers with too much CO2.

In short: A minty and slightly chocolaty coffee stout. Fun beer.
How: Bottle 330ml, black waxed top. Consumed with some age on it (2 years?).
The look: Black body topped by a large tan head with medium retention.
In long: Bottle opened up with a huge “psssshhh” with foam coming out but not really a gusher. Nose is coffee and more coffee, and then surprisingly a bit of fresh green tea. Taste is again very much coffee-forward, also has a very clear flavor of those individually wrapped mint chocolate that many restaurants give after a meal, earthy sensation, yeast, green minty hops. Bright minty bitterness of medium-high intensity. Overall a fun beer, especially with that bright minty bitterness giving the beer a different twist. A pretty good beer as long as you don’t stop to think where the Kopi Luwak coffee has been through, and you also don’t want to think about the percentage of the air you breath that has passed through a butthole.

Pour is a dark brown, almost black color, with a fizzy tan head. The nose has a touch of roasted malt and then delicious coffee that is better on beer than real coffee. Taste is same, roasty, tons of well integrated clean coffee with hints of vanilla and chocolate and a light to moderate bitterness. Body is creamy and airy, assertive carbonation. Integrates the coffee extremely well without being ashy or peaty and overly bitter.

2010 Vintage Bottle at the De Molen dinner courtesy of Vinny, shared with Menno &Tom. Pours a deep blackish brown body with nice white lacing. Aroma is lots of deep, dark espresso roast, oak and light chocolate. Mouthfeel is slightly boozy with notes of wood, coffee, espresso, and light dark fruit. A great coffee stout.
