Bottle, 33cl. Most likely from the last batch. Pours pitch black with a huge, light brown cola-head. Aroma has obviously looots of fruity espresso-coffee. Some bitter, strong roast, alcohol, burned sugary sweetness, Dark dried fruits, and dark berries as well. Taste as well is just packed with coffee. Has some syrup/brown sugar, a certain alcohol presence, hard roast and more coffee. The beer has some sharp edges, but is overall fairly balanced. Pretty high carbonation, medium full body. Really good stuff!

Pours black with a fizzy brown head. Aroma has that characteristic kopi smell where the coffee is very light roasted and very fruity. caramel, chocolate, some light roasted malts and overall has that "cold coffee" feel. Taste is more on the roasted side with some roasted malts, light roasted and fruity coffee, cold coffee here as well and some raw vanilla as well. Hides the alcohol very well but the body is a bit weak for a powerful beer like this but overall this comes off very nice and is quite pleasing to drink. I remember the old beer as being a bit more complex though.

Lényegében szénsavtartalom nélküli kortyok következnek ezután, desszertszerű, olajos testét zamatos kávészemek ízhatása tölti meg egészen különleges tartalommal, ami percek múlva is a garatunkban tevékenykedik.

The coffee aspect of this beer was great, and prevented it from being mediocre. The feel was a bit gassy and overcarbonated for the style, and there was a slight vegetal bitterness (that thankfully went away quite a bit as the beer warmed and openned up). A touch of smoke, lots of young coffee beans, chocolate. Nice bittersweet beer, though I was hoping for better."

Bottle. Pours very dark black with fine tan head, settles quickly with moderate lace. Aroma is roasted, chocolate, nutty, and mildly spicy. Tastes roasted, nutty, toffee and chocolate, coffee, with a sweet, caramel, mocha finish. Moderate carbonation, medium body, and smooth finish.

Bottle: Jet black pour; there’s about a 6:1 ratio of head to actual beer in my glass, even with a modest pour. Dafuq is this. Chunky, porous, brittle, deep khaki head. Takes a goddamn decade to recede, too. Sticky. fat lacing, everywhere. Milky chocolate aroma; vague dark fruitiness, grassy tones, slight roast... Maybe some coffee? Not as "coffee heavy" as I’d expect. The taste is another story. Huge roast, scorched & burnt coffee bean flavor out of the gate. The heavy char is quickly blunted by an undercurrent of mocha & lactose-like sweetness that rushes in. Hint of burnt caramel, with some reciprocating dark chocolate & brown sugar. Finishes by coating your palate with cold pressed, full city roasted coffee. Not explicitly "kopi", I guess, just regular ol’ coffee. A good stout, but a weird stout. There’s something strangely compelling about it.

Bottle at Unibaren, Århus. Pours black with some brown hues. Thin brown head. Aromas of some roasted coffee, booze, bittersweet coffee, slight caramel malt and some oats-like notes. Taste is pretty sweet, roasted coffee notes, and some dry bittersweet chocolate.

Poured from a bottle. Retained light brown head. Incredible coffee and malty aroma, though I could almost taste the alcohol before I sipped. Taste replicated the aroma almost perfectly. Strong alcohol aftertaste. Delicious, though not for the faint of liver. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
