3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bottle from CBS, Corvallis. Pours a medium-dark brown, decent amount of tan head. Aroma chestnuts, coffee, caramel. Body thin, dry, with a rich, nutty finish. Age may have negatively affected this.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bottle from Rehills, Newcastle. This is a very dark brown-black coloured beer with peppery, tart red fruit, chilli and floral fruity coffee flavours, chocolate notes with slight liquorice and roasted coffee on the finish.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
BOTTLE 33 CL from dcmchew. BOTTLED 24-JAN-2013.
Coffee leftovers with some weird stale semi-fermented notes, some black malt sweetness in the background. Not much sweetness, fruitiness or real roast. The aftertaste is plain manure. The nastiest stout I ever had.

4.2 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
UPDATED: APR 18, 2015 0,33l fles volgens mij bij vonk Zaandam vandaan. Diep zwart zonder noemenswaardige schuimkraag. Wat een intense geur en smaakbeleving geroosterde en gerookte mout maar daarbovenuit de extreem volle kopi loewak koffie met een diepe bitter, zure afdronk die mintuten je mond blijft vullen. erg bijzonder.

4.1 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 17/20
33cl bottle from Roybeer, Milan. Pours black with a thin beige creamy head, way less than I was expecting. Quite strange for a stout. Aroma is roasted malts, peat, chocolate liquor, some dried fruit, light coffee. Taste is similar with the best coffee aftertaste I ever experienced in a beer. Thick oily mouthfeel, low carbonation, medium to full body. Excellent.

3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
Bottle in beergeek with cam and pavel. had it on the way to 100. pours jet black with a small tan head. smells of coffee, chocolate, raisins, burnt toffee. taste delivers what the aroma promised. coffee right away, moving to the sweeter choco, then a bitter hoppy finish. more complex and bitter than the espresso stout. maybe it was a bit too much for me. really great for what it is though

4.1 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
330ml bottle served in a snifter glass.
A: Pours a deep and dark brown color forming a small but persistent bubbled beige to brown head. Few spotty lacings are left in the glass
S: Very roasted with strong notes of coffee. Notes of dark chocolate and chocolate malts. Really amazing in the nose. Some alcohol is felt in the end
T: Strong roasted malts and slightly sweet upfront. Strong notes of coffee. Strong roasted malts bitterness in the end
M: Heavy molasses body. Low carbonation. Roasted malts bitterness in the aftertaste
O: Great coffee Stout. Quite good drinkability considering that itís a 11.5% ABV beer. It does not seem to be that strong
