3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 14/20
Way too much carb. Green pepper nose combines with coffee/oak. Taste delivers bitter, black coffee and the roasty base. Decent, not exceptional.

4.4 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 18/20
11.2 ounce bottle, date on back label says 18/04/12. Served in a DFH snifter, the beer pours dark brown/black with an inch and a half tan head that sticked around for a long time. There’s also a decent amount of lacing. Aroma is very nice, the brew smells like coffee, roasted malt, chocolate, and caramel. It tastes like coffee, roasted/charred malt, bittersweet chocolate, nuts, caramel, and molasses. Mouthfeel/body is medium/full, it’s creamy and coating with high but soft carbonation. If you like coffee beers, then you really need to try this one. It’s a coffee bomb! I’ll have to buy another bottle the next time I come across this, I liked this one a lot.

4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
33cl, bottled on 19/04/2012 (11.2%). Pours black with small/medium beige head. Soft aroma: roasted malts along with coffee grains...maybe notes resembling wood as well. The flavour is definitely Mocha, but there’s also a nice hoppy touch. The alcohol provides a warm sensation in the back. Creamy mouthfeel, perfect carbonation. Well, I certainly enjoyed simillar stuff better than this, but it’s still a really good brew.

4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
11.2oz bottle: pours a mostly opaque black with a large, over-carbonated froth of pillowy clumpy-lacing beige head. Has a fresh rich roasted coffee nose with some dark chocolate notes. Starts with pretty good fullness and effervescence with some sweet dark caramel and coffee notes before a drier roasty finish with a touch of tartness.

4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
Bottle 0,33l Bottled 24.01.13 Color: Black with creamy, lucidly brown foam - which dissapear quickly. Aroma: Coffee with a bit plum and cherry. Taste: smooth coffee, plum jam, a bit chocolate, raspberry syrup, stone fruit liqueur. Medium body. Medium aftertaste, balanced between sweet and bitter coffee, dark fruits. Alcohol imperceptible. Good beer but too little distinct for me.
