Bottle from Bacchanalia. Sadly, I think the bottle was slightly defective; when I opened it, the beer was almost to the top and when poured, it had very little carbonation. Was a very ark brown, with a marbled tan head and some lacing. Aroma was musky, with some dark rum and aniseed. Dark malt flavours, with some molasses and liquorice. Finish was honeycomb, coffee and cocoa nibs.

(33cl bottle) near black, not much head, fades like soda. Nose of bacon and smoke, older coffee, peanut shells, and chocolate syrup. Taste of milk chocolate, bits of cacao nibs, coffee, umami, soy sauce, smoky and salty. Unique beer, under carbonated and bacony linger.

18/04/12 11.2oz bottle. Pours a deep brown with thin ruby edges and a massive rocky tan cap. Aroma of chocolate, coffee, earth, vanilla, cherry and plum. Taste is sweet and slightly bitter. Mouthfeel is slightly creamy but finishes finish. Abv is masked ridiculously well.

33 cl / 330 ml, flaske, 11,2 % ABV, købt i Barley Wine i CPH City, 27. juni 2014.

330 ml bottle at home, bottled at 19/04/2012. Black color with nice big beige head. Roasted malty, coffee, chocolate, sweet aroma with some alcohol. Sweet taste with alcoholic bitter finish. Medium body with oily feel and average to lively carbonation.

Bottle, 11.2%. Fruity aroma, slightly citric. Black colour. Very small head. The flavour is quite sweet, very roasted, alcoholic but not exactly boozy. Sticky mouthfeel. I do not get a lot of coffee in here, at least no more than I get in many other imperial stouts.

Bottle @ D-Day in Mojnlandet :-) Pours cloudy very dark brown with small tan head. Clear aroma of roast and coffee. Roasty flavour with sweet notes of caramel malt and fruit as well as coffee but above all, alcohol. Bitter and roasty aftertaste with sweetish notes. Dusty second nose. Very low carbonation. OK but more interesting than delicious.
