[bottle] shared by Armin. Thanks! Pours hazy deep brown with a large tan head. A carbonated Dutch stout? Who would have guessed!? Aroma of lightly green coffee grounds, dusty chocolate, and light smoke. Flavor is green coffee grounds, lightly vegetal, dry, dusty, old chocolate. The finish is dry and gritty.

Bottle opened with a slight hiss with a nice carbonation, worried about infection a bit. Nice dark brownish black pour with nice tan head, aroma has notes of nice caramelly, milk chocolate like coffee, some hints of caramel, vanilla, toffee, hints of roast in there as well. Taste is a mix of bitter coffee, chocolate, hints of dark fruit, roasted malt, toffee, vanilla, slight bitter booze, finishes fairly dry, slightly gritty finish. Pretty decent.

Bottle pour from Armin. Thanks man! Pour is a slightly hazy very dark brown, with a large mocha head with fair retention and a bit of lacing. Aroma is booze laced wet coffee grounds and chocolate. Taste is nice coffee and chocolate, with a fair bit of oak and booze. Very coffee forward. Mouthfeel is slightly gritty coffee grounds. Nice.

Bottle shared by arminjewell! Dark brown pour, lasting disc of creamy carbonation and an aroma of a little coffee and green pepper. Flavor is great mellow earthy coffee, vanilla, lactose. The nose was a little odd, but the flavor was amazing!

Bottle thanks to Christian. Pours black with a dark brown head that dissipates quickly to the edges. Aroma is full of nice kopi loewak coffee with a bit of backing dark roasted malts and a bit of sweet chocolate. Flavor has a lot of roast with a really nice coffee note and a hint of sweetness. Nice and thick.

33 cl bottle @ home. Dates: brewed 04 April 2009, bottled 03 May 2009, enjoyed 14 December 2011. Gusher, had to pour it into two pretty large glasses. Black color, huge beige head(s). Aroma’s of heavy heavy roast, dark coffee, some vague fruitiness and something odd that’s hard to define.... also some ash retronasal. Flavor is medium sweet, heavy roast, mocha-ish. Alcohol is warming. Finishes with roast & ash and a light bitterness. Yummie.

Pour darkish black, with a huge, thick off-white head. Aroma of bitter chocolate, roasted coffee, mocca and burned malts. The taste is quite bitter at the start, but smoothly turne into sweet. Semi-medium body, with a watery texture.

Black bodied with light tanned head. Coffee, cream, dried apricots. Smooth but a bit watery. Somewhat sharp. Medium bitterness with long aftertaste but watery body. Bit disappointing overall.

Dark beer with light brown head. Plenty of fresh roasted coffee in the aroma and flavour. Reminds me a lot of Struise’s Mocha Bomb although this one is a lot more light in the body department. The aroma in this kind of beers always reminds me of jalapenos for some reason. Might be the kind of coffee they use.

Bottle at home from De Bierkoning, Amsterdam. Lively black pour with a big dissipating tan head. Wonderful coffee nose, with roast, dark choc, spruce and berry notes lurking. Flavour displayed similar traits in spades with subtle notes of vanilla and a little tartness. Some gently developing bitterness came into play towards the finish. Smooth, rich and oh so moreish. A real treat.
