Bottle shared by bhensonb. Pours black with a massive tan head that dissipates fairly quickly, and a strong coffee aroma. There is a delicious coffee and smoked malt flavor with a soothing alcohol trail. An excellent brew. Thanks Bill.

Dark beer with light brown head. Plenty of fresh roasted coffee in the aroma and flavour. Reminds me a lot of Struise’s Mocha Bomb although this one is a lot more light in the body department. The aroma in this kind of beers always reminds me of jalapenos for some reason. Might be the kind of coffee they use.

Bottle (trade with the great Koelschtrinker). A gusher - beware! Espresso, balsamic vinegar, and sweet dark chocolate aroma. Cloudy dark brown color with explosive head initially but fades very quickly. Sweet mocha flavor up front followed by bitter/astringent coffee bean/grassy hops finish. Cannot detect any weasel poop in this at all. Despite the gimmick of this beer, it is very nice.

Pours a pitch-black beer with a thick, brown foam, which holds very long. In the nose very coffee-like, strong malty aroma. Toffee and caramel in the background. Starts with very strong roasted coffee aromas, with a massive enormously malt body. The alcohol content is only slightly noticeable. The middle part has very strong coffee aromas, with a massive malt body, and some bitter chocolate in the background. Goes into a very bitter coffee-like and malty finish. The aftertaste remains still veeeery long! Absolutely terrific beer!

I have had this both on tap and from (various) bottles, even the newly released 33 cl version.
I pours a thick caffe frappe black with the nicest of heads.
Realease the coffee aroma with a bang.
Tempting to get a spoon and eat it...
Although it’s pretty high in alcohol it drinks very easily.
A textbook example of a delicately yet dangerously balanced brew!
It is a knock-out beer. Has to be in my top-3 for this year (new releases, that is).
