3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
(Bottled, sampled 2010-03-02) Hazy amber with a very small, bubbly head. Rich-malty nose with berryish and dark-fruity, alcoholic warmth. Sugary-sweet flavor with grainy malt, dark fruit, some alcohol (not burning). Surprisingly drinkable for beer this strong, yet not quite an example in balance.

4.4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 18/20
Thanks to madmitch76 for this fine brew. Pours clear copper with off white head. The aroma is rich smooth prunes, peaches, ripe juicy plums, apples, semi sweet sherry notes, caramel candy some oak and orange hard candy. The taste is upsettingly smooth and wonderful (where have you been all my life?) and rich and complex. It offers up succulent notes of rich smooth blended dark fruitiness, ribbons of creamy caramel candy, smooth molasses covered oak and sweet citrus orange like hop flavor. Amazing!

4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 17/20
Flaske: Brun øl uden antydningen af skumhoved. Absolut ingen karbonering. Tilgengæld en lækker duft af karamelmalt der fortsætter i smagen. Vanilje og eg giver også et fint bidrag. Minder faktisk om Angels Share, men har det samme problem med manglende karbonation hvor vi havde været helt oppe og ringe. Men daym øllen smager godt.
