Tap @ De Molen. Deep dark brwon color. Dark chocolate and red wine in the aroma. Cacao. Roast, raisin, vinous notes, dark chocolate and coffee in the flavor. Malty sweet, but also quite complex. Fairly low on carbon. Great beer.

On tap in T’Arendsnest. Poured dark brown with a thin tan head. Aroma of coffee and roast malt. Medium to full body, flavour of dark chocolate and sweet roasted malt. A bit of a disappointment by De Molen standards.

Leighton (6961) - London, ENGLAND - SEP 26, 2012
Draft at the Copenhagen Beer Celebration 2012. Pours black with a creamy brown head. Smoke, dark malts, dark chocolate and dark fruits in the nose. Hugely sweet flavor, lots of burnt sugars, mild charcoal and rubbery ash, mild spice, burnt wood, dark chocolate. Full bodied with fine to average carbonation. Lightly warming to finish, some peat and modest smoke, burnt wood and burnt sugar, dark chocolate. Very decent stuff.
