Bottle @ Ølbutikken. Pours clear very dark brown with a frothy beige medium head. Aroma is raisin, cocoa, bread, chocolate, oak, whisky, nutty, roasted, hint of leather and vanilla. Taste is moderate sweet, bitter and light tart. Body is medium, texture is light creamy, carbonation is soft. Finishes dry, nutty, roasted with oak. A very coherent and elegant achievement.

Bottle from Ale & Hop, Barcelona. Black with a steady beige cream. Marcipane and orange aroma, followed by similar flavours as well as a good dosis of chocolate and hints of smoke. Smooth as silk. Another world-class beer from De Molen.

33cl, as Larie & Apekool Barrel Aged, new exclusive Dutch brew Anno 2012, from De Hopduvel Gent, very complex smoked Stout, roasted/woody and slightly alcoholic/spicy, yet not too heavy, very balanced, cloudy, small head, very good brew, yet expensive!

On tap at CBC 2012. Beer in the glass deep black, creamy head. Intense malty aroma. Starts milder than exspected, fine malty, some woody notes. Finish milder and softer, still dry background. Soft-malty finish. A great and very drinkable beer!

On tap at Copenhagen Beer Celebration 2012. Pours black with a light brown head and some nice lacings. Quite sweet with a medium bitterness. Malty rromas of caramel, chocolate and toasted malts. Also aromas of plums and hints of cask wood and medicine. Full bodied. Soft carbonation. Bitter finish.
