Nice caramel sweetness and a smooth mouthfeel. The pour is a bright copper golden with a thick finger of light yellow head. Some light carbonation subsides with some effervescent head on the pour. The nose has a beautiful cascade hoppiness and floral notes throughout. Sweet bready and caramel malts with mild bitterness on the finish. An overall nice mild to medium hoppiness with an overall easiness to drink

On tap at HaandFestival 2012. An unclear, golden-orange beer with aromas of citrus peel, some resin and sweetish, biscuity pale malts. Sweet, citrusy and with some pine cones and resins with a nice bitterness. Medium body, pleasant carbonation, but still feeling a bit dead on the palate. A tasteful and pleasant beer, although a bit dull. It’s still the Imp Stouts and Barley Wines they do best at De Molen. 120504

Bottled. Pours hazy and pale amber with a huge, creamy off-white head. Nose of citrus fruits and caramel. Sweet flavor with grapefruit, lemon orange peel and at bit of pine, caramel and spicy notes. Medium bodied, oily texture and soft carbontion. Solid bitter finish. A well made IPA from de Molen.

A very decent IPA with a twist. It has pronounced saaz-like character AND orange c-hop flavours, the latter more so as it warms. A bit of a foamer, enormous head and lace. Off-white soap on orange body. Distinct American hop aromas. Smooth mouth feel, tingling the palate in the finish. Good drinkability. Thanks Presario.
