330ml brown bottle. Orange pour, very hazy. Big white head, foamy, airy. Good lacing. Zesty orange peel nose. Taste has wheat and grain, late citrus notes. Very dry in the finish, yeasty, light bitterness. Some woody and zesty orange hops in the aftertaste. Light bodied, ample carbonation. Belgian wheat IPA? Somewhat refreshing, nice hopping but the yeastiness and dryness are a bit much.

Rating #1097 - May 24, 2014 - Spring Fling at Liquor Select - 330mL bottle shared with 3-4 patrons - An oatmeal belgian IPA? - Aging bottle but almost all of De Molen beers are bottle conditioned - this was a bit of a squirter, but a golden pour with an expertly tamed creamy white head. Aroma is doughy yeast of fresh bread. Palate has some citrus, and some unique malty sugar texture. Finishes smooth but somewhat unbalanced.

Bottle - Vintage 2012 - Pale malts, light esters and earthy hops. Cloudy orange with a decent off white head. Caramel, orange and some nice sweetness balanced by a decent bitterness.

Alengrin (2813) - BELGIUM - AUG 24, 2014
Three-grains beer with thin, off-white head and hazy orange blonde robe. Aroma of peach, yeast, wheat, nuts, vanilla and grass. Caramel malts in the mouth, fruity with velvety oats, subtle spicy accents, finishing in a rather assertive hop bitterness, more so than in e.g. a typical witbier, with which it is distantly related.

Bottle as usual from De Molen - looks really good. Beer in the glass deep golden, nice head. Shy malty-spicy aroma. Starts very mild, malty, some spicy-wheaty notes, light salty background. Finish still mild, dry-malty. Okay.

Aroma is saison like yeast, slight earthiness and lemon grass. Taste is a pale sweet maltiness with yeast and tarty properties. Floral notes here. Appearance is a yellow orange with a slight haziness. Head is learl and retains fairly poorly.

330ml bottle (Bottled on feb´12. Enjoyed on jan´14). Wine glass. Orangish amber color, foggy appearance. Off-white froth, fairly good retention, close crown & lasting thin layer on top. Citric -orange & grapefruit-, mild toasted malt & herbal aromas with biscuit notes & phenolic touches. Mild toasted & creamy upfront is swept it out by increasing citric bitterness. Medium body. Moderate but lively carbonation. Spciy & gorgeous palate! Bitter finish & slight citric aftertaste. Refreshing, velvety & dense but, unfortunately, carbonation ruins it.

Lagerboy (1441) - British Columbia, CANADA - JAN 23, 2014
33 cl bottle. Ridiculously huge white foamy head with some mostly clear orange copper liquid beneath it. Aroma of coriander clove citrus and wheat. Tastes mostly like a wiezen, citrus and Belgian yeast, a bit floral, mild spicy herbal hop, smooth oats are also noticeable. Excessive carbonation, light-medium bodied, lightly hopped. Light and lusty finish. NFL (Not For Lagerboys)
