Holmen1 (2293) - Stavanger, NORWAY - JUN 7, 2013
Flaske delt med Asle Bjørn og Sigmund: syrlig kirsebæraroma (no surprise there) sammen med litt maltsødme og et aldri så lite humlesnev. Null skum. Mild og behagelig syrlighet, en lett sommerforfriskning, middels munnfylde med vandig ettersmak og det skjer lite mot slutten.

330 ml shared bottlefrom Bierkoning kindly provided by my mother-in-law. Clear orange with no head. Sour cherries, caramel and wood with some chutney tones on the nose. Medium to full bodied. Flat and thick mouth. Mild berry like acidity anda fruity bitterness with no astrngency. Subdued bitterness in the end.

Pawola22 (3262) - Woodridge, Illinois, USA - MAY 13, 2013
33cl bottle from De Bierkoning in Amsterdam. Pours a cloudy amber-red colored body with a thin, fizzy, tan head that dissipates quickly and leaves a light lacing. Aroma is dry, tart cherries with a good amount of wood, a light malty sweetness, some acidity, and a light funk. Flavor is similar. Lightly sweetened cherries up front before some funk and a good amount of tartness comes in. Woody and slightly acidic before this finishes dry, tart, lightly bitter, and fairly fruity before leaving a lengthy aftertaste. Light, smooth body and a somewhat active, moderate carbonation. Overall, a pretty tasty sour. Fairly straightforward, but dry and balanced with a nice tartness and woody cherry element. Good beer.

Pours a copper amber colour without a head. Aroma of wood, sour cherries and bread. Flavour of sour cherries, toasted bread, wood and raisins. Medium bodied, oily mouthfeel and a sour, tart, cherryish finish with some bread. Decent.

330ml bottle

Bottled June 1st 2012 - Pours dark brown with a tiny head. Aroma of sour berries, tart notes, yeast and chewy notes. Taste is sourish, malty with notes of tart berries and yeast. Finish has some stingy notes, mild yeastiness. A bit unbalanced, finish is a bit messy.

laiti (5515) - Helsinki, FINLAND - MAY 9, 2013
33 cl bottle @ olio, bottled 01.06.2012, BBE 01.06.2022
Aroma is sour with woody notes, some cherries and urinal cake. Flavour is rather tart and sour with woody notes, vinegar and green apples. Palate is very low on CO2, which makes this feel like very sour juice. Sweet and sour, which is not the combination I like.
