Could have been a higher score because this is an ugly looking beer. No carbonation, dirty red. It is of a nice sourness however with the cherries coming right through it. You have to bite through the sour cherries, but after that it is very nice. Bottle from De Bierkoning.

Bottle 30 cl. Pours a dark red without any head and has an aroma of vinegar and wine that has been in an opened bottle for to long. The taste is tart and sour, with notes of cherries and elderberries.I didn’t expect any beer like this from De Molen, but I really like it!

On tap at Haand Festival 2012 Aroma of malts, berries, some red currants, but mostly a cherry bomb.. Nice sour taste and tart fruits. This is exactly what it promise to be: Lief & Leed on cherries :) Being the last beer of the evening the notes are of poor quality.

Bottle. Pours a light red, pinkish colour without any head. Aroma has tart, milk and cheese. Taste has a lot of sour and tart flavours, but is still really easy and refreshing to drink.

Bottle. Pinkish brown color, Cherry, marzipan and leather in the aroma. Sour flavor, no carbon, with cherry, almond, marzipan and cellar flavors. No sweetness at all. Not 100% good, but delicious and interesting.

Scopey (6659) - Croydon, Greater London, ENGLAND - JUN 12, 2012
Tap at CBC, May 2012. It pours cloudy deep red, with a thin pink-white head. The nose is medicinal, TCP, artificial fruit and cherry tunes. The taste is cherry, spice, medicinal, earth, lead, damp grass, artificial (akin to cherry tunes), chamomile and alcohol warmth, with a dry finish. Medium body and moderate carbonation. Thin body and fine carbonation. I really did not enjoy the mix of flavours. Not the best balance and pretty tough to drink.
