Tap @ Borefts 2012. The pour’s deep red with a small off-white head. The nose is funky vinegar, some cherry compote and lemon peel. The taste is tangy brett, red fruits, more funky lemon. A bit of vinegar. Nice, smooth drinker.

Countbeer (2921) - Best of Eindhoven ohne Brauhaus, NETHERLANDS - JUN 19, 2013
Bottle: Served in a Chouffe glass: Rusty copper brown pour. Medium sized, sparkling and right away disappearing creamy off white beige foamy head. It leaves a headless hazy red ish brown colored beer in my glass. When held into a light source it turns into a hazy orange colored beer. Aromas of wild yeast, sour grapes other fruits like green apples, apricot, berries, raisin, caramel, nuts, some sweets like sour sweet candy and something cherry sour sweetness, malts, quite a delicate and complex aroma. Mostly yeasty sour. Flavour is a good mix of sour fruit and yeast: sour and tart tones of wild yeast, berries, tart, grapes, green apples, yoghurt (while not lactic), some straw, hay, malts, wood, light something wild barnyard farmish something, but than again not. Is that part of the complexity? The flavour is also mostly yeast and sour fruit. Very nice. Aftertaste is little sour, light dry, yeasty, some fruit and woody malts. Medium carbo, soft smooth and sour mouthfeel, good medium to lightly fuller body and a texture between watery and creamy. This is not the typical lactic sour or brett sour, sour ale. It’s more while at the same time it’s quite easy. Still it has a complex aroma, flavour and body.

Brown body with visible high carbonation but no foam. The aroma has dull fruit notes with evident sourness. The taste has apple-like acidity with some vinegar background. Dried fruits, pruns, little bit astringent. High bitterness. Body is full with very low carbonation.

Tap at Borefts 2012 - Bodegraven. Pours cloudy gold with a light, white cream head. Tart aroma, some soured malts, cherries. Light to medium sweet flavor with big tart cherry character, strong sourness. Light bodied with average carbonation. Pretty sharp to finish with zippy cherries, some funk. Very nice. Clean.

Bottle, bought @ Ølbutikken, Cph.
Pours clear red amber with a large, fizzy off-white head that settles as a 2mm frothy head. Aroma has nice toffee-caramel, light lactic, fruity, light strawberry, funky, soft red apple vinegar. Medium frothy carbonation, quite dry and creamy mouthfeel. Flavour is qutie elegant, caramel, very tart, nice lactic. Perhaps a tad too much vinegar, but it still maintains some balance. Apples, funky, light citric. A nice sour.
