750ml bottle enjoyed @ home. Bottle #5 of 753. I completely forgot I had this bottle. Pours black with a long lasting nice beige head. Aroma roasted malt, bourbon, oak, vanilla, leather, prunes, lots of barrel character that gets more smooth as it warms up. Flavour is medium bitter and light sweetness. Full bodied, thick texture, soft carbonation. Finish is bourbon, oak and a hint of grapes and prunes.

Itís pitch black with a brown, dense and long lasting head. The aroma is complex with notes of bourbon, vanilla, oak, roasted malt and licorice. The flavor has a light sweetness and a pleasant roasted bitterness and notes of licorice, bourbon, oak, vanilla, chocolate, itís really nice. Iím happy I saved this in the cellar - it matured well...

750mL bottle. Poured deep brown with a medium, well-retained smoked tan head. The aroma picked up lightly smoky bourbon and related oak, green coffee beans, and ashy malt, with licorice and bakerís chocolate supporting.. a little heavy on barrel and burnt notes, but still solid. The flavor found tangy bourbon and oak throughout, with peppery alcohol tart cherries, and light grainy bitterness around.. more sour barrel and bourbon over dark chocolates and ashy, smoked malt on the finish. Heavier-bodied with surprisingly lively carbonation on the palate.. alcohol was well-hidden considering its size.. this smoothed out as it had a chance to breathe, and ended up quite enjoyable.
