On tap @ CBF 2010 & bottle shared with Noize. The aroma has little flowery hops, some fruity malts, sweetness. Hazy, dark brown coloured beer with a good head. The taste is a bit sweet, siruppy and becomes more bitter towards the finish. Lots of hops present, aprikot, malts. Nice one.

Rune (8173) - Tromsø, NORWAY - MAY 13, 2010
Draught. Unclear dark-brown with a bubbly head. Aroma of floral hops joined by mid-sweet malts. Pine-like hops in flavour sustained by dried fruits, sweet malts and warming alcohol. Long-lived bitter tail, which perhaps was the best part of this dark IPA (Købnhavnske Øldage, 06.05.2010).

From tap. Pours hazy dark brown with a small tan head. Aroma is dry roasted malty and light caramelish. Sweet, phenolic, bitter and fruity. Dry and mild yeasty note into a dry finish. Nice hoppy brew. Lasting fruity and dark malty impression.

phredrik (1010) - Copenhagen (formerly Aalborg), DENMARK - MAY 9, 2010
Tab @ CBF. Hazy brown pour with a soapy tanned head. Indeed not a pretty beer. Aroma is nicely hoppy with citrus, elder flower and small piney notes, kept in place with a nice malty roast and sweetness. Taste is funny. The are present with the lime and the pine, but the malts are strong anyway with roast, caramel and liquorice. Low carbonation, medium body, medium duration.

Draught at Københavns Ølfestival 2010. Hazy brown coloured with a medium sized beige head. Sweet aroma of caramel, cookies, dried fruits, hops and pine needles. Sweet flavour of caramel, dried fruits, hops and pine needles. Sweet and hoppy finish.

07-MAY-2010, @Beerfestival.dk. I rated this as an IPA, but I can see that it is categorized as a barley wine here. And it is very malty for an IPA, and very dark(!) :) A very dessert-like beer, that is relatively easy drinking.
