Off white full lasting head. Cloudy amber colour. Aroma is malty with fruity (peach) and light citrus and spicy notes. Flavor is malty too with dark fruits and raisins tones, ending in an initially fruity then wooden finish. Medium to full bodied.

(2010 Vintage) 750 cl. bottle shared @ home with Belgbeergeek – thx to Belgbeergeek – (A) slight amber/ orange with a white head – (S) sweet caramel, vintage, pumping, cooked carrot (? – yeah) – (T) sweet carrot, pumping (all cooked), caramel concoction, yeast, caramel malts, vintage flavours,… no way in hell this was meant to be like this, I kind of like it but this is a carrot beer, maybe it is the hops that did this weird thing with aging – (B) oily, quite easy going, medium to soft carb. – weird, kind of like it but yeah, carrot beer

Corked 750ml bottle from Mi-Orge Mi-Houblon, Arlon, Belgium!
The beer is dark amber colored, with high, long-lasting white head. Looks gorgeous! It smells hoppy, and very yeasty-malty-fruity and spicy. Starts with massive yeasty, fruity flavors (peach, berries), it has a sweet malt body, slightly alcoholic. The middle part shows slightly alcoholic, very fruity, with sweet malts in background. Goes into a yeasty-sweet, fruity finish and malty finish!

Bottle at home, in the fridge for some years as well. Hazy golden with an off-white head. Aroma heavy malty (caramel, light fruits), moderate hoppy. Flavor heavy sweet, moderate bitter. Medium to full body with some alcohol present.

Blairgus (1190) - California, USA - MAR 30, 2011
It was a light orange/brown color and slightly hazy, though not as hazy as the Amerikaans. My first thought was that it smelled like a hefe. It has the same great body as the Americaans though it was not as fizzy. It tasted rich and malty like wet bread smells on a hot day, and it had a slight bitter finish.

(bottle, 75cl) Hazy, golden colour with a short and slightly off-white foamy head. Moderately sweet (cara-)malty and slightly bready aroma with a subtle fruity and slightly alcoholic touch. Sweet-bitter flavour, full bodied with a moderate carbonation. Yeasty malty and slightly bready taste with shy fruity hints and herbal hoppy accents; moderately sweet malty finish with a balancing level of bitterness and mildly spicy notes.02.III.11

Bottle: Golden, a bit hazy, stable lacy and creamy off-white head, visible carbonation; sweet-bitter zesty-orangey nose; relatively moderate sweet-bitter flavour, medium to full bodied; sweet zesty-orangey finish with a slightly adstringent tartness in the aftertaste. Quite O.K. .....

Bottle at home. Clear orange pour, thin white head. Aroma is sweet fruits, apple, peach and some tangerine, combines with piney and fruity hops, some grass and grapefruit. Flavor is fruity sweet malts, slightly bitter finish. Nice balance between the sweet fruity malts and the bitter fruity hops. Quite fruity tripel overall. Nice.
