(.33L bottle brewed 3-3-10 bottled 4-7-10 thanks to bu11zeye) opaque ruddy brown with a still body. Nose of light smoke, chocolate malt, sweet fudge and cocoa. Taste of smoke, mesquite, bbq, uncarbonated. Smooth but a bit watery.

Thanks Edo! Dark almost opaque brown color, medium-sized brown head. Coffee beans, ash and some cooked vegetables in the nose. Body and mouthfeel is quite watery. Light roasted coffee beans flavor, hints of De Molen yeast. This is like a watered down version of some De Molen stronger stouts. Pleasant but kind of no use beer.

Bottled. A black beer with a whitish head. I really didn’t get on with this. Horrifically over carbonated. A roasty aroma with lactic notes and fruity roasts in the mouth. But it’s all so ordinary and the carbonation makes it such a struggle to drink. Really doesn’t work.

UPDATED: OCT 12, 2010 [9/26/10] Bottle at t’ Arendsnest in Amsterdam. Black-colored with a beige head. Aroma of toasted bread, caramel and some roastiness. Sweet and slightly roasty flavor with some bread and a drier finish. Medium-bodied. A nice session beer.

Botella. Very alive, good thing I was close to a sink! Pours a black colour with a huge well lasting light brown creamish bubbly head. Aroma of roasty malt, dark fruits and some chocolate. Ok mouthfeel. Roasted malt dominates the flavour along with some chocolate and coffee, a pleasant bitterness and some sweetness. Bit thin but flavourful.

Bottled. Hazy dark brown color, thick rocky brownish head. Aroma has some coffee, dark chocolat, soft hop. Soft chocolaty taste, some bitterness, no sweetness, some carbonation. For a 3.9% a very very nice beer.

Bottle, bought @ Ølbutikken, Cph.
Serious gusher. Muddy dark brown, big frothy, beige head. Settles after a while as a thin bubbly film. Aroma has light milky chocolate, maltiness, earthy and light fruity hops. Low to medium carbonation, dry and light watery palate. Flavour is heavy bitter, lots of malts, a tad harsh, cold coffee, a hint of liqourice and tobacco. A bit too thin perhaps, but at the ABV there is probably a reason.
