UPDATED: MAR 14, 2012 Light brown, cloudy, big head. Big hoppy. Pine hops, but floral, dry sandy backup. Easily drinkable, dry, even unami vase taste with a light but clear bitter character. Short ending. Full flavoured still. Not extreme but we’ll brewed. (On tap at De Molen tasting)

Good carbo (could use a bit more maybe), medium body. A nice low abv beer, way nicer then pilsener. Great material for the summer.

Bottle from Post Office Vaults, Birmingham. Smells hoppy, but with swampy hops of the North European variety. Slightly strange taste, with gluey, dewed grass weaved into the solid wafer biscuit malt. Easy drinking tasty, fresh in a way, but in another way it resembles a damp umbrella. Pleasant.

Beautiful hazy amber beer with nice white head. Aroma is very fruity, with a lot of sweet mango. Taste is also mango and some lychee. Mild bitter hops are supported by sweet malts underneath. Body is good. Carbonation is a bit flat. Very tasty new brew by the Molen. Bottling date: 6 feb 2012
3.6 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20 Sigmund (4162) - Tau, NORWAY - SEP 1, 2012
330 ml bottle, shared by abemorsten. ABV is 5.3%. 60 EBU. Bittering hops are Premiant and Saaz, dry hopped with Cascade and Columbus. Deep golden to amber colour, moderate white head. Pleasant and complex aroma of fruity (mango e.a.) and floral hops. Fizzy mouthfeel. The flavour is also very fruity, notes of mango and passionfruit, moderately bitter finish. Quite enjoyable.

Small, just yellowish head over fully hazy orange beer. Citrussy & grassy notes, dry smelling. Green grainstalks. Bitter, very hoppy & aromatic flavour. Grassy, herbal. Actually a tad more German in character as British. Main taste fast gone leaving a dry-hoppy bitterishness. Refreshing, rather light in body; well-carbonated. Nice beer, the one you want for your thirst - and enjoyment.
