Bottle at home. Dark orange amber, thick bubbly orangey white head. Mango, slight honey, thick perfumed hop nose. Juicy citrus front flows into slight estery sweetness, with a drying peppery hop linger.

Bottle at home. Hazy dark red, substantial, off-white foamy head. Nose presents lovely mango, orange, almost buttery, definitely perfumed. Decent zesty hoppiness with a bit of citrus sweetness to back it up. Decent fizz to it. Very nice.

pivnizub (8999) - Bochum, Porúří, GERMANY - JAN 6, 2012
Bottle: Hazy, reddish-amber coloured, lacy off-white head, moderate caramelly fruity and distinctive hoppy nose; robust bitter-sweet flavour, medium bodied, pretty soft; dry lingering - with hops sticking to the palate - hoppy finsh, balancing sweet dried fruits and malt in the aftertaste. Very good English Strong Ale, even though brewed in the Netherlands…
