Aroma is a bit unpleasant with berries, some gooseberry bush and nettles. Flavour has gooseberry bush, nettles and berries. Weird and not good.

Thanks to bierkoning for that one. Bottle looks simple but good. Beer in the glass brownish, nice head. Starts strong, fine spicy, some sourish notes. Nice caramel notes in the background, but the finish is dominated by dry alcoholic notes. Starts better than it ends.

On tap at the brewpub. Slightly hazy amber brown colour, dense off white head. Aroma of sweet malts, light fruity, flowery, caramel. Flavour is sweet, malty, fruity, toffee, nice grassy bitter finish. Medium bodied, slick. A lot better than the previous Molenbier imo. Very nice.

Pours deep hazy gold into a tulip. Off-white head with good retention recedes leaving sheet lacing. Sour tropical fruit aromas. Sweet dry caramel with nutty toast and hay in the middle and a lasting bitter earth finish.

Bottle from Vinmonopolet, Vika. Pours hazy deep amber with a big creamy off-white head. Aroma of yeast, toffee and wood. Taste is moderate sweet toffee and malts, piney hops underneath. Lingering dark liquorice at the end.Good for sure.

Sample @ brewery. Pours cloudy murky dark amber with a great beige head leaving lace. Aroma is malty fruity grassy hoppy piny. Flavor is floral sweet malty bubblegum citric piny very bitter. Finishes bitter fruity and slightly sweet.

Flaske 0,33l fra Vinmonopolet Oslo, Vika. Fortært 31 Okt 11. Gyldenbrun. Uklar. Høyt kremaktig skum som varer lenge. Antydning til honning i aromaen. Forsiktig mandelsmak. Tørr fruktig bitterhet i ettersmaken. På det jevne.

In bottle from Nina’s. Pours an red amber colour with a huge yellowish beige head. Very high carbonation. Aroma of toffee apples, caramel and grassy hops. A treacle and candied popcorn flavour upfront before the bitterness kicks in. Very nice.

Clear deep orange to amber beer, huge fizzy off-white head, unstable, non adhesive. Aroma: very smelly, swimming pool, citrus, peppermint, herbal. MF: lots of carbon, light to medium body. Taste: bitter start, herbal hops, pretty spicy, sourish, cocoa powder. Aftertaste: very bitter, cardboard, bit spicy, dry, hint of sugar. Tastes like the bottle is 5 years old, but it’s only 8 months old!
