Flaske fra vinmonopolet. Gusher. Mærk ravfarget, uklar. Enormt mye skum. Smaker malt, humle, karamell, honning, grapefrukt, furunål. Ganske god, men keg synes den bar ganske dævv. Sansynligvis fordi halve inneholdet sprutet ut på kjøkkengulvet når jeg åpnet den, og resten i flasken ble til skum. Tror jeg må rate denne på nytt en annen gang

Copper color, opaque, slightly hazy. Great off-white head, huge and longlasting, with a compact looking and a soapy surface. Beautiful head. Malty aromas, to honey, caramel, biscuit and a medicine hint. The mouthfeel presents the same notes: honey, caramel and orangish hops to balance. Good development, medium carbonated and bodied, sweetish and lingering finish, watery to creamy texture. Probably, it is not a great beer, but I liked it a lot. I’ll repeat, for sure.

Another de Molen beer. Like usual very experimental, first of all it’s hardly to classify it’s style. The colour is brown, dark amber. Average head and average lacing. The aroma is very nice, some dark fruit esters combined with malts and caramel, some basement aromas. It has some features of belgian ale like characteristic yeasty and malty aroma. Taste is bitter but not striking bitter, some sweet malts in the middle and in aftertaste. Noticable pils malts. The textute is rather thick, average carbonation and medium body. Molenbier is another well balanced de Molen beer, which has some features of pilsner, belgian and english ale. Interesting but did not knocked me down.

Dark red color, little brown. Smell little bit ashes, not much more. Taste is a little bitter. Nice beer.

Bottle from Menno - thx. Beautiful amber with a nice off white head. Spicy aroma with notes of cloves, apricot and marcipan. Flavour has an initial caramel and fruit sweetness which is quickly substituted by a solid, dry bitterness that comes wrapped in an alcoholic full body. This beer delivers on multiple levels, but doesn’t exceed it’s own limitations within the style. I could drink this often, but the aroma would probably keep me from it, as cloves remind me of some bad experiences with Becherovka.

Draft. Large off-white head, cloudy dark amber. Aroma is moderately sweet, raisin, some grapefruit/earthy, light smoke. Taste is moderately sweet, caramel, orange, some earthy/grapefruit. Medium body, light stickiness, low carbonation.

A little hazy, dark amber colored beer, with a light beige foamy head. The aroma of fruits, malts and a little bitter. The taste of hop bitter, fruits with caramel and notes of spices. The aftertaste is bitter with some sweet.
